Infrared Spectroscopy of Polymers, XI: Introduction to Organic Nitrogen Polymers

چکیده
Until now, our discussion of polymers has been limited to functional groups containing carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. In this column, we begin covering that have nitrogen as well. We review the structures bonding characteristics atom, then examination spectra organic with a very important class polymers: polyamides.

Solitonic States in Organic Conducting Polymers
In a typical solitonic distribution, the soliton density is distributed over the entire moleculeand the present work shows how its density can be decomposed into solitonic and antisolitoniccomponents. It is found that there exists a unique electron as soliton over the anionicnanoconductor, while there are many other solitons and antisolitons. The solitonic states are furtherdecomposed to the ca...

متن کاملFourier Transform Infrared and Fourier Transform Raman Spectroscopy of Polymers
This chapter covers the fundamental principles and current applications of Fourier transform (FT) infrared and Fourier transform Raman spectroscopies as utilized in the analysis of polymeric materials. The primary emphasis of the first part is on the principles and advantages of these interferometric methods, whereas the remaining sections illustrate numerous applications focusing on the struct...
متن کاملNMR Spectroscopy of Polymers
molecular tumbling causes that anisotropy of nuclear interaction now plays dominant role in the appearance of NMR spectra. Frankly speaking the NMR signals are very broad and spectra become featureless. In general missing isotropic tumbling leads to severe broadening of the detected signals. The lack of resolution, however; does not mean the absence of structure information, it rather reflects ...
متن کاملOrganic-inorganic polymers hybrids
A b s t r w A series of blends at molecular level dispersion between an organic polymer and metal oxide (mainly silica) are described. These blends are called "organicinorganic polymers hybrids". The dimension of dispersion of "hybrids" is much smaller than that of the so-called "composites". The most suitable organic polymers for the formation of hybrids are those which consist of repeating un...
